How to make a logo out of a picture using Inkscape

To make a logo out of a picture you need to open the picture you want to use into Inkscape, if you don't have Inkscape go to their website to download the free vector program.

  1. Open your picture into Inkscape.
  2. Go to layers in the top tool bar.
  3. Add a layer and name it, always make sure that you are on that layer.
  4. On the same layer you can use the bezier curve to outline what you are copying from the picture.
-The bezier curve tool that you will find on the left tool bar.


     5. Click the fill tool and choose from the selection of colors at the bottom of your screen, to select the stroke color hold shift.
     6. To apply effects click Filters on the top tool bar.
